Students from the University of Experience of León visit La Robla Cement Factory

On Wednesday, 7 May, a group of 15 students from the University of Experience paid a visit to La Robla Cement Factory. The visit forms part of an initiative driven by the Government of Castilla and León, in collaboration with all of the Universities in the region, based on a scientific, cultural and social development programme, designed to integrate people over 55 years of age into university education.

As on former occasions, the visit began with a brief introductory talk by production manager, Mr Armando Turbón, followed by a tour of the main components of the cement plant, in the company of Mr Álvaro García from the Production department. The factory tour also included a visit to the laboratories, guided by Mr Joaquín Juliana.
