Engineering and Geology students at Rebarco quarry

On Wednesday, April 30, eleven students visited the Rebarco quarry at Tudela Veguín cement factory. The majority of the students were Mine engineering and Geology graduates. The visit forms part of the course titled "Aggregate and Energy Efficiency Technology", which is given by Oviedo University through their foundation.

Quarry manager Mr Francisco Muñiz Suárez, accompanied the students during their visit to the quarry faces and the primary blasting area, providing them with a detailed explanation of quarry activity.
