Celebration of the third environmental awareness day

The third planting event of the year took place at the cement factory in La Robla, on Tuesday, 11 March. 35 students from Emilia Menéndez School, gave life to 40 seedlings of common-pine, corsican pine and spruce pine, species which withstand the harsh winters in high mountain areas.

The Mayor of La Robla, Mr Ángel Suárez, attended the event accompanied by a councillor from his government team, Mr Pedro José Alonso. Representing Corporación Masaveu were General Manager of Communication and International Relations, Ms Alicia Castro, the manager of La Robla cement factory, Mr Pedro de Lama, and also, as on other occasions, the Environmental manager for the industrial sector of the business group, Mr Fernando Tresguerres.
