Eighty school children from Candás make this year’s tree planting event the most numerous yet
This year’s Awareness day at the Aboño factory was a great success in every way, but particularly due to the high number of students taking part; no less than eighty children gave life to eighty new fruit trees. The Mayor of Carreño, Mr Ángel Riego, the councillor for the Environment at Carreño Town Council, Ms Cecilia Tascón and the councillor for Public Safety, Social Development and Education, Mr Alberto Gómez also participated in the activity. Attending on behalf of Corporación Masaveu were the General Manager of Communication and International Relations, Ms Alicia Castro Masaveu, the Manager of Aboño cement factory, Mr Iván Menéndez and the Environmental manager for the industrial sector of the company, Mr Fernando Tresguerres.
